Superb all-round show by Odisha`s Swagatika Rath powered East Zone to a thumping 73-run win over Central Zone in their Junior Women (U-19) Inter-Zonal cricket match at Guwahati on today. Electing to bat, East Zone made 189 for seven in the stipulated 50 overs and then dismissed the opposition for 116 in 44.2 overs.
Swagatika hit a 71-ball unbeaten 58 (6x4, 1x6) and followed it with a five-wicket haul. Sushree Dibyadarshini Pradhan and Pragyan Mohanty were the other two Odisha players, who played in the match for East Zone.

East Zone 189/7 in 50 overs (Swagatika Rath 58 n.o, Archana Dutta 30, Anita Lodhi 26, Ritu Dhrub 20; Vaishnavi Khandakar 2/19) beat Central Zone 116/10 in 44.2 overs (D Sharma 48; Swagatika Rath 5/17, Ritu Dhrub 2/14).
